       @Wearenotcattle nah. Personal vehicles like himars used 1/2 or 5/8in thick armor plate (Mil-A 46100 armor plate) around the windows anyway. It's fucking crazy shit. I don't think it repels 50cal but it might. The glass itself I'm sure is something crazy as well, probably not 50cal resistant though. Place I used to work, manufactured the pieces that the glass fit into, on many military vehicles including hi-mars. Used the scrap to make gong targets.
