@Griffith sorry i'm regrouping all my shit for a new contract that came in last second. it'll be another long daybut on some level i am happy since constant work distracts the mind from things we can't, or won't, fix. either way i will ensure i drive over that sunshine skyway bridge because i find looking down and seeing cargo bulkers just meters away from the supports and remembering how all those cars got dunked into the ocean that one time by one is fun

@rher The place was really dirty. When I got there, the door was locked, and the employee who let me in didn’t know where to go. I got beckoned into a room where a bunch of people were sitting at tables by themselves and I just got a really bad vibe so I left.Disappointing because there aren’t many good jobs but this place looked really poorly run so I left.

They are really putting themselves in existential danger without knowing it.

Yeah you made the right call. I was apply for a job at a similarly dilapidated place and withdrew my application, and I'm glad I did because I heard from a friend in my industry that they got people into really shitty variable pay contracts with a five year non-compete clause if you quit or were fired.
