       @tek feels weird to say because I have little love for the dude, but if John McCain were alive and in office this shit would not be happening in the U.S. He held certain flavors of nanotech at bay for a while (insofar as he was not a fan of small machines making big ones, and I kinda wonder a little too often how right he might have been).
