It really feels like you cannot go wrong with your hardware choice from now on. Things are too good now, I’d dare to say. Almost feels like a dream, but pretty much every piece of 2024 hardware should essentially be plenty for any use case. And I mean any (except maybe simulations)

So, what does it mean to pick up a computer now? Sure, if you're a #gamer you'll probably want to fine-tune performance. Maybe even if you're a scientist or a low level dev. Otherwise, it's just... whatever you can afford and think looks pretty I guess. Not even battery will enter the math, it's all just good from hereon.Obviously there's laptops where you have to take care of looking at the quality of the keyboard, or the webcam, or the variety of supported I/O.I feel this scenario mostly benefits Framework and modular hardware. After all, why would you want to buy a new laptop every few years when it's still gonna be plenty good? :blobcateyes:

@xerz Yo creo que el mercado móvil ha preparado bien al público general para eso, la gente no suele preguntarse por qué las "apps" de "samsung" no funcionan en iphone y viceversa.
