Since 10/7 I’ve been asking myself non-stop “what in the heck was hamas thinking?!” They had to know the response. We know they don’t care about their citizens. It finally came to me. By martyring the Palestinian people, they’re turning the global youth against the west, against Israel and the Jewish people, and toward Islam. A renewed wave of antisemitism. @itzpaquet I’m not arguing any of those points. I’m asking what was Hamas thinking with their attack on 10/7, knowing full well what they were bringing upon their own citizens. My personal thought is a global turn against the west and reinvigorate antisemitism. Hamas has shown little regard for their citizens. BTW, you look young in that photo for a boomer!

@itzpaquet Wall to wall coverage of the Israel / Palestine conflict. Minimal coverage of land theft, massacres and genocide from the Uighurs, to Rohingya to the Armenians. I too find that curious. I’m seeing coverage of Acupulco. Also starting to think there are so many weather / climate disasters happening everywhere, all at once that I’m not seeing them all. I’m well aware of US meddling in Central America. Not many anti imperialism candidates to vote for 😩
