Anyone have experience setting up a wiki? My webhost (BlueHost) has four different wiki installs available and I have no idea which to choose: DocuWiki, MediaWiki, PmWiki, and WikkaWiki. I'm reasonably tech-savvy. Not a programmer, but I understand shell scripts and basic HTML/CSS. My goal is a wiki to organize and share campaign notes for my homebrew D&D campaign. Centered around a big map with links off to pages that expand on locations, people, factions, & history.Feel free to share!

@lunarobverse I can wholeheartedly recommend #TiddlyWiki - easy peasy, you can just start using it, place the one file in your #webhosting environment, etc.https://tiddlywiki.comAlso, for the full featured big and bold, there's #TikiWiki https://tiki.org/HomePageI think if you just start off playing with the #Tiddly family, you'll be more than pleasantly surprised and it will grow and morph to your own requirements. I hope that helps!#tallship #wiki ⛵ .

Holy cats! Thank you all! So many recommendations! Looks like most folk recommend MediaWiki, though there are points made for the other options, too. I have much to think about!
