There's a variety of reasons I decided not to write this.1) I'm not queer. I'm not trans. I'm not a harassment target for the .art/TBS clique. Despite countless harsh posts and boosts, I have not received a single bit of harassment... Because I'm a straight white cis male with a generic profile and photo - and a 450000 monthly readers tech news site. They are never going to target me. Cowards.2) I'm still quite new to the Fediverse. I don't know enough.3) I'm bad at search.

Let me remind you that I actively engaged with the Nivenly Foundation, asking them to disassociate from TBS. They replied saying TBS would not be the only option during setup. I replied that sure, that may be the case, but for now you're still pushing a transphobic blocklist, and I'm sure you don't want to be associated with transphobia?They never replied to that one. Full silence.Telling.

@thomholwerda Hi, I'm the original poster on this: https://github.com/nivenly/community/discussions/4There has been no movement on anything within Nivenly basically at all since Nova's death, and TBS is not a Nivenly project, so I'm not sure how you can read it as "pushing a transphobic blocklist."At best they have given it tacit approval, but can you point to where exactly they are "pushing" anything beyond that?

On the fediverse I am subject to transmisogyny basically every day, and you are more than welcome to look through my posting history to see what I've had to say about TBS.So you understand: I am not endorsing or supporting TBS in any way. Still. Point to me exactly where, in what communications, they are "pushing a transphobic blocklist" beyond the FSEP proposal, which came out before all this started.

@hrefna For sure, but I asked Nivenly about it *afterwards* (and I'm sure I wasn't alone). Yet... It's all still up there. No word about it, at all. Not even a "we're looking into this, give us some time". Just silence.And yet, the people involved with TBS have kept on harassing trans and queer people, as has been well documented by now. I'm sure you can understand just how scared so many trans and queer folk on Fedi are about this, and have been for months now.
