On Boiling Steam (https://boilingsteam.com/) do you want to be able to comment under each article, or would you prefer to use social networks for that purpose since we make a post on the Fediverse to announce every article?

@luana Thanks, I am not asking for the HOW (I am well aware of the options available), rather what makes the most sense for end users in these days

@boilingsteam IMO, social media comments can work fine for the author, however, I think having them detatched means that future readers will lose access to any benefit from comments - they may find your blog post, but they won't be going back through socials to see any comments. So, in the end, it depends on who you feel like comments are for.

@boilingsteam I would really like to see your links to article/pieces from your website here at Mastodon. I guess you get more comments here at Mastodon or an exchange with people. What do you think ? 🙂

@boilingsteam Overall no strong preference. I usually see your articles on the Fediverse so will probably comment here but am not opposed to comments on the site.
