       @tek I call myself an influencer but only because it's an easily-recognized term that gives people a rough idea of what I do with TNO. I prefer to call myself a privacy educator, but then I have to get into long q&a's about what that entails.Both paths eventually lead to "I don't care about my privacy" so "influencer" is just a shortcut to get to the other annoying part of the conversation.

       @nateb If someone asked me, I'd say your a blogger or columnist. Both of those seek to influence, unless they're purely in it for the money.

       @tek The focus of TNO is the website. All other endeavors - the newsfeed, the youtube videos, the blogs. They're all meant to serve as extensions of the website, but the website was always meant to be the core focus with the latest reliable info. The videos, posts, etc get outdated. The website is living.It just so happens that YT ads pay more than donations lol

       @tek I am currently editing a fiction book I'd like to publish. Slow going, with the day job and TNO and all. And I used to write short stories as a kid. "Author" is probably what was I always destined for lol
