It can only happen under a Constitution type of Government, where we have freedom to exercise religion but an establishment of religion cannot be mandated on you. World peace can happen where we have freedom of speech and freedom of press. The right to privacy and free will. The right to use encryption. The right to effective assistance of counsel. The right to have a jury trial and the right to jury nullification. To have presumption of innocence until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, where disproving one element of guilt is enough to be found innocent. None of our rights should be suspended or treated as privileges for any reason at all. Those that keep peaceful revolution possible makes it where violent revolution doesn't happen except those extremists who want to take away freedom and liberty. Liberty brings peace, tolerance brings peace. Every religion who tolerates other religions, that is what brings freedom, prosperity, and peace.

We have watched for decades governments talking about world peace. Beauty queens wanting world peace, protesters stopping people and making enemies of them for world peace. This only makes people madder. In the history of the world. Peace has been achieved only a fraction of that time. To achieve it is a miracle and should be cherished. 95% of women would like to have a child. I strongly suspect that the percentage of men who would like to have a child is similar. While women can fairly easily ensure they have a child if they wish, the same is not true for men. Arguably solving this issue alone would make a rather significant difference.

World peace is a great idea, but one I think to be utterly unobtainable. There are other reasons, but most conflict in human history is based out of competition for resources - whether it be something as inanimate as arable land or water down to something both more human and more primitive like competition over available mates.We can control for a lot of this, but we can't completely eliminate the fact that our resources are finite and not equally distributed. Cooperation and trade make up a fair portion of the difference, but they can't cover all ends.All that negativity aside, I think a future in which these conflicts remain limited in scope and ultimately get worked out diplomatically rather than militarily is one worth aiming towards, even if we may never get 100% there. I don't know that I can imagine any future that totally eliminates conflict, but having conflicts that remain localized and short-lived would be far better than what many parts of the world deal with currently.As far as how we can accomplish this, we've tried forced redistribution, allowing for massive population redistribution to the first world, and "foreign aid" and all have failed. I feel like the best course forward - and one which had a reasonable level of success in the West - is to lean heavily on mutually-beneficial trade. The problem we have now is that the world has opened and the West interfaces directly with the third world and with dictatorships. This means the parties to these negotiations either lack the framework to properly identify what they have to offer in trade and/or lack the language to describe what they're after. Well, that or "good faith" doesn't enter the chat because at least one party to the negotiation is used to applying force until they get what they want.Whether that cultural differential can be addressed is above my pay grade. Depending on the day, I either think it's easily done or totally impossible. The upswing of attempting this is that it would require elevating the third world to the point where it can negotiate intelligently with more established first world nations.In my more pessimistic moments, I look at China and think that's the best this process can give us, but I'd like to live in hope that a formula could be found for it.

I imagine that, in the generally accepted sense, world peace is not all it is cracked up to be. Indeed, as with any other Utopian dream, I imagine a terrible price to pay just to make it possible. I mean, for peace to ensue, something has to be done to end conflict, and all conflict arises from disagreement, and disagreement between people is as inevitable as death and taxes. The best I can imagine world peace being is incredibly boring and empty, and that is assuming it is genuine, because, anything that is suppressed tends to fester, and when conflicts fester, they first manifest as passive-aggressive behaviour, and when the conflicts continue to be suppressed, truly horrifying things are wont to happen.I shall stop here, for the thought of world peace really does take my mind into some dark places.

To me, World Peace is about Healing. Healing of the past history between nations and races. Healing of our wounds and forgiving those who hurt us and abused us, at the level of our personal lives AND at the macro level of our world, nation, race. Because it's only when this healing has occurred that you can find peace inside and no longer rely on conflict and war to stop your suffering . When you're at peace inside, you also let go of your need to get something with force to make you feel powerful, so you don't feel so small and broken anymore. When you've healed, peace is inside of you and you stop seeking revenge. You stop making other people wrong because they are different. You stop using force and start using your Personal Power, which is WAY different from the so called "power" we're used to witness and experience. When you're healed, you don't make yourself smaller to accommodate others. You seek collaboration. You are generous, it’s just natural for you to help and elevate others to their highest potential. You use your energy to grow and evolve instead of seeking to put others down. You don’t fear to be diminished or robbed or used. You know who you are and you develop yourself for the greater good of all. WOUNDED PEOPLE AND NATIONS HURT PEOPLE AND NATIONS. Healing is the path towards World Peace and it starts with me, you and everyone else. World Peace starts into our own inner world, in our own psyche. Heal your emotions and your wounds. Your gender wounds, your race wounds, your family wounds, any wound that you're aware that you're carrying. Only a world with no national borders would have no wars over them. And even in a world with only one government, there could still be wars-- wars of resistence, civil wars, revolutions. A world with none of those things could be a utopia if humans were different, but it's much more likely that only a repression so brutal that no one could get up a revolutionary army would achieve a lasting world peace. They say war is the price we pay for freedom, and it's true, just not the way people usually mean it.

I believe true world peace will involve more division, not less. Because unity, even among supposed already formed groups, is an illusion, at least for now. The failed experiment that is the USA is a perfect example of how certain peoples cannot coexist. It's far more likely that if everyone went their own way, and lived among their own people whoever they choose that to be, then there would be less to fight about. Less government would be key to this as well, decentralized with big gov stripped of it's stolen power from the people. The US actually has a chance to lead the way here with a national divorce. Each state already having it's established borders. Each state could then decide who and what they are among those people that are already there, anyone in disagreement of the new state declaration could simply move where they want. Christians could finally have a homeland. Satanists can have their own, and so on. Other than something like this I honestly believe there will never be world peace. Because we will always be fighting each other for whatever reason. But if it was achievable somehow, world peace would be glorious. Describing something that seems impossible is not easy. But I would imagine a world where everyone gets what they want, so nobody has a reason to complain or fight. Then one must consider what if someone wants something they shouldn't have, for example the ability to enslave and slaughter innocents at will. Who will save them? And so the peace we seek may not exist.

Why? For how long? How would those with tools of violence be controlled?Would it be worth it?And how would human beings react in a peaceful world? With a major risk factor gone, would they start developing new types of psychosis? Would murder rates increase? What about serial murders? Mass shootings or other forms of mass murder? Terrorism?Human beings are strange - reduce one risk factor and they tend to increase other forms of risk... it's almost as if being happy and safe is not something we can deal with, as a species. At the individual level? Sure, no problem. But not at the collective level.

ummmm....How does one describe world peace?A utopia? To describe it, we must eliminate what doesn't describe/facilitate towards it.Multicultural? Not in the strictest sense. Yes each culture has its pros and cons but merging them into a single nation breeds disaster.Tolerance? We can get world peace more easily by increasing human space exploration. Instead of fighting each other, people will have to cooperate to fight against the hostile environment in space.

World Peace is to me what internet is to napster stock holders in the mid 2k's. The more people that have access to it the more valuable it becomes.I was not raised in a hippy commune society; I may have been better adjusted if I had. I was raised in a pretty well to do community, fairly secluded and well developed. What the town had in wealth we had as well a community who preached tolerance in the same vein as they did the buddy system. Tolerance would keep you protected; if you were a bully, you were taking your hits too but the deepest exclusions occur from those who feel that the outcome would be peace; this is something that is woven into our instincts as a "pack species" and merely taught openly in well developed areas with modern art being an symbol for the education ecosystem of developmental milestones surrounding modern language. Like rats, wolves, or Dolphins; our likelyhood for survival relies on culling amongst our own for the goal of dominating the ecosystem to ensure a stable life for the whole pack. • Peace does not always come through surrender: Assisted suicide is not the innate answer to modern pack culling. However I believe it shows a underlying need for the weak to satisfy the strong with the self destruction of suicide for appeasement of burden. Because of this; I find myself on the side of being pro-assisted-suicide despite finding myself horrified at the concept of one of my friends with a genetic or other vulnerability committing suicide. I have to respect the wishes of others before I can decide what kind of person I am for supporting their convictions.• I don't believe war is achieving the same goal; I feel the weak rise over the weak in a fight to prove they are the least weak; knowing they will never find the joy of peace in a world without the support of those who create our structuralized society; aka the strong. When a weak man loses control he can either find control in what he can handle under those who hold the burden of maintaining society, or deny control for those who deserve the choice of control. This is why wars are weak and opinionating one self as a person who proposes peace through war is both lying at the podium and deeply, conciously aware of that fact, in action.To conclude my statement, and to describe World Peace; The most valuable stock not available to invest into on the NASDAQ.

A world where ALL have A SAFE place to live, with a least basic nutrition to keep them healthy enough to strive for a more pleasant Earth. I don’t believe world peace, in our physical reality, means no violence. Animals live peacefully among one another, killing for the sake of food, physical safety, and reproductive competition. I think world peace means individuals manage our own risk, voluntarily assist our neighbors, and voluntarily band together in small communities for self defense.In a world where federal governments exist, tyrants (paid with tax money) forcibly lock down entire nations, create laws that rob its citizens of freedom and money while empowering pharmaceutical, financial and defense corporations, and force their nation’s plebs to die in wars, fueled by false narratives

A world with a pop culture where "Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs" is easily attainable as a basic right by anyone from anywhere on Earth. Specifically the first on Maslow's list (Physiological Needs). That covers the physical side of human flourishing, but no matter how great and abundant a world or nation may seem upfront, the status of the human heart will always fall to temptation (greed, pride, etc.) and can ruin whatever utopia was accomplished... therefore, a #Postmillennial society is the answer to cover the spiritual (or mental) side of human flourishing, that's the only path to world peace.
