@mjg59 @adx I said "yes" but having written a thesis, lived with someone writing a thesis (we were also raising a child for part of that), who then went on (decades later) to write two books, writing books is way the fuck harder, at least if you want to do it well.

@mjg59 My gut feeling is that is either a 180 page book without code or a 650 page book with code. A publisher is going to turn it into a 300 page book with just enough code to distract but not enough to be useful.
