I'm just looking at Koreans eating donkatsu (Schnitzel) and it is eaten here with fork and knife. 90% of them hold the fork in their right hand, which is interesting and the opposite from what I've been fought as a child.

@jeena I've always held the fork in my right hand. Being raised in Sweden, it was sometimes pointed out to me that you were supposed to hold it in the left hand, but I never understood why.

@loke because holding the knife in the dominant hand makes it safer to cut tough things like meat off bones,etc.

@jeena @loke I am left handed, no one forced me to use fork and knife in a specific way. I use the left hand for the fork and right hand for the knife.Scissors I use on the left, in case anyone was interesred in knowing :).

@returntrip @loke I was left handed as a toddler until my grandma made my young parents bind my left hand to the chair. Now I'm right handed but also very good at things with my left hand.The point is that you use you dominant hand for the knife because it is safer that way.

@jeena @returntrip @loke I'm right handed and try to use my left hand (tennis elbow) and it sucks... Been trying for two weeks now, but it is hard to hold and use a phone with the left hand. And the mouse is impossible.
