       My sister works at a big corporation where they replace all employees computers and phones every second year. To make it even more stupid, the computers they replace, are sometimes the EXACT SAME computers they get replaced with, only that they're brand new.Can anyone explain why big corporations are this stupid?

       @hund I'm guessing they sign on very large standard contracts (instead of negotiating their own) with some large provider. We had something stupid like this for corporate phones.

       @gustav Yep, that’s it. The money the company wastes is usually shared between the provider and whoever thought it was a good idea to sign the contract, but sometimes they’re too stupid to even ask for a share.@hund
