@boilingsteam open ublockorigin settings, clear cache and force update all filters. They are changing the detection algorithm every day, so filters needs more frequent updates.Also check other extensions, they may detect other too (though for me it still works with SponsorBlock and Return YouTube Dislike)

@boilingsteam There’s a manual update for ublock floating around that fixes it. Currently I’m running a greasemonkey script that just separates the player into an iframe, and that solves it

@dave that fixes it until they fight that workaround. Basically Youtube has drawn the line and consider that adblockers are not allowed.

@boilingsteam Yeah, ticks me off. I only started caring when Youtube started putting in two hour and a half long ads while I was doing something I couldn't skip with my hands busy. In the middle of cleaning stuff out with it playing, or while hands are covered in grease or mixed up manure. Kinda pisses me off that they do it now. I've had. Cleared one 20 minute video and had 5 ads, of 5 minutes + a piece. I"m just so tired of it. then if your creator has an add support, ......

@boilingsteam The notice is particularly arrogant because Google's corporate brain seems to think I'm obligated to obey its rules. None of us is obligated to look at anyone's ads.I'm a low intensity Youtube watcher. I can easily stop watching entirely.
