@watch4thedrop @inverness01 There is WAY more to this than meets the eye, and we don't even have the tip of an iceberg to examine. And I don't mean anything about Jim Jordan, but rather how, in the space of 24 hours, with no telegraphing or public controversy whatsoever, Mike Johnson was able to clean sweep his way into the Speaker's chair. @lolajl @StevenDouglas @watch4thedrop @inverness01 I don't approve of mixing religion and government. Most other stuff about him seems OK so far. Luckily, we have a strong 1st Amendment that should stop most church stuff he gets passed by Congress, so I'm not super super worried. But if he starts funding the illegals crossing the border via religious organizations, then I know the other good stuff is not good enough to overcome invasion of our country.

Now I should expect to see Hamas claim religion as an excuse to start advocating their murders publicly in our own Congress as a "personal" conversation, and for the same from several other collectivist religions.
