macOS Sonoma is not buggy at all.

@stefandesu I am very glad that I didn’t update my work macbook. Otherwise I would probably go insane.

Explanation: On macOS Sonoma, the emoji keyboard shortcut (Control-Command-Space or Globe) shows inline emoji suggestions if it thinks there are related emoji to the last word you typed (INCREDIBLY annoying and there's no way to turn it off). In most messenger applications, there's a bug that if you press Enter to confirm the suggestion, the message will be sent instead, and the suggestions will stay as leftover ghosts whenever you open the emoji picker.

Fun fact: Those "suggestion ghosts" even move out of the way if you click on the desktop! (Sometimes they stay even after you closed the emoji picker.)

Note that I'm not on 14.1 yet, so it might be already fixed. Still a fun bug for an annoying feature.

@noim It's mostly fine, but some things are infuriating. Although I can't compare with Ventura as I completely skipped it.
