       If I wrote black characters, they would probably be accused of being uncle toms or committing the sin of whiteness. Probably better if I leave that to people who understand black culture and grew up with the various cultures there than end up writing the above or a lazy stereotype.

       @benis That's true. I'm just saying that it would be better coming from others in stories it makes sense for rather than expecting me to put black characters into my stories because they will be missing something important to that experience.

       @benis I have thought about writing a good story based on their criteria to show that it can still be done or just to see if I can as a challenge. But it takes me a long time to write so I'd much rather focus on telling the stories that I want to tell than what others want in the industry. Hopefully that passion shows in my work and people will be able to enjoy it too.
