Loved that series. Brilliant, if scary piece of work. I must re-read those again.Redwall and now Nimh. Something about stories with animals keeps popping these reminders up to my eyes lately.

I forgot about the mice and the mouse king in The Nutcracker! :benis_alpha: I wonder if they pulled that from local folklore or fairytales, originally like the mice who helped the shoemaker. It'd be kind of neat if it were really passed down :shyduck:

I donât remember Taggerung all too well. I didnât mind that trope too much, but I didnât like when they started deviating from characters related to Martin or Matthias all too much, unless it was Mariel or the Bellmaker :dorb:
