       Lieber @bfdi ,ist es vorgesehen, das "Working Paper on Telemetry andDiagnostic Data" der "International Working Group on Data Protection in Technology" auch noch in Deutsch zur Verfügung zu stellen?https://www.bfdi.bund.de/SharedDocs/Downloads/EN/Berlin-Group/20230608_WP-Telemetry-Diagnostic-Data.htmlDas Original liest sich auf Englisch sehr zäh und ich finde viele Punkte durchaus lesens- und verstehenswert.Gerade Politik, Unternehmen und Endbenutzer könnten dadurch dem "Lack of Awareness" und "Lack of Fairness" begegnen und hätten so die Chance, die "Reccomendations" zu verstehen und besser umzusetzen.

       @chbmeyer Guten Tag. Wir planen keine Übersetzungen der Arbeitspapiere der IWGDPT. Denn das wäre erstens sehr aufwändig und zweitens müssten wir eine Übersetzung mit den anderen Nationen abstimmen, damit diese dann auch veröffentlicht werden kann (was noch mehr Aufwand bedeutet). Dafür haben wir leider nicht die personellen Kapazitäten. / ÖA

       @bfdi Außerdem wünsche ich mir eine bessere Unterstützung für Bürger und nicht-Juristen, die den "take it or leave it" Ansatz nicht akzeptieren oder durch Gruppendruck, Vereine, Behörden, Schulen, Unternehmen zum "take it" gezwungen werden und / oder z.T. erheblich negativ diskriminiert werden.Das ist IMO auch der Hintergrund des "Erwägungsgrund 43".

In discussions around the topic of telemetry and diagnostic data it often turns out thatvendors and developers have a very different understanding of what constitutes personaldata than data protection advocates or authorities""7. The IWGDPT would like to underline that data falling under the above definition are personaldata even if the connection to an individual is not direct (i.e. through natural identifiers suchas first and last name or an official ID number), but via a pseudonym or circumstantialinformation. Data that could be linked to an identifiable individual is personal data even ifthe entity processing the data has not identified this person and does not have any intentionto do so."

       @bfdi Danke für die Auskunft, was ich sehr schade, aber auch verständlich finde.Dann hoffe ich , dass sich die "Recommendations" der Punkte 57-60 möglichst schnell unter den "Institutional / Commercial Customers" herumsprechen.In meinen Augen dürfte das unter Anderem das Aus für MS365 in der Schule bedeuten und möglicherweise sogar für schulische iPads. ... Aber das ist ja bekanntermaßen die Sache der LfDI.
