       I recently started using voice dictation on my computer, and  it's life-changing. It's a lot better than it used to be, and it saves me a ton of time. If you haven't tried it in a few years, try it again. (I'm on a Mac. Can't speak to the Windows experience.)#Lifehack #productivity

       @GuyDudeman You just say "open parens" and "close parens."I had to type that by hand, because it kept making the symbols. 😂  I'm sure there's a way to make it not do that, but I don't know what it is yet.

       @grammargirl On the phone? It’s similarly life changing. I can just dictate into a note on the go and tweak it later. Amazing stuff.

       @ctp I've used it quite a bit on my phone for a couple of years, but I only just started using it on my computer too. And I agree: it's fabulous on the phone! I hate typing on that little keyboard.

       @grammargirl I’ve often found it handy in the past to have my Mac read what I wrote back to me out loud, too. Helps with the rhythm of prose, and it’s an easy way to catch some mistakes spellcheck might have missed
