       People mock me mercilessly for traveling with my own fussy, artisanal coffee and coffee rig with me when I travel. Decided to leave it home for a quick in-and-out trip to MSP -- and oh lord, am I regretting that decision. How do you people drink this garbage water? Wow.

       @derekbrauders @pilhofer I've had "garbage water" even at specialty #coffee trade shows, so mate, NEVER be ashamed of travelling with your own gear. It can really be as simple as a travel grinder, a fold-flat ultralight brewer ("Expedition Brewer"), and relying on your travel destination to provide the hot water.

       @coffeegeek @derekbrauders @pilhofer I have a backpack with travel coffee accessories, including a small hand grinder, and a few portable methods of brewing including a french press mug (stainless, not glass!), phin, tiny moka pot, and handpresso! This kit is made more for making coffee on the road for everyone, on the bike or at camp, so includes a whisperlite stove and pot for hot water or to heat the moka pot. Just water needed, not even hot water.Your personal setup is so much smaller!
