@Aeron EU wants these companies to censor for them. That's why all of the browbeating and threatening etc.Musk isn't playing ball the way they want him to, ergo the harassment.Fuck em. Just block the service from the EU.Maybe a better redirect would be, "We don't provide our service to authoritarian asshats. Take your patronage to those bootlickers, Meta."

@philcolbourn I'd assume, a portion of them that actually like X would complain to their "representative".I haven't used twitter since they censored the Hunter Biden laptop story, so, on the one hand, fuck X.But on the other hand, telling the entire EU to go fuck themselves and blocking them from the service gives me warm fuzzies.

@FortyTwo afaik, It's a bit broader than that.These "social media platforms" ,in a way, are responsible for a huge polarization among it's users. And therefore, indirectly, other's as well. They don't care about privacy, human rights etc..All they're interested in, is keeping the share holders happy. Those are not the kind of platforms we need. Meta, ofr instance, finds all sorts of way to evade the GDPR here in Europe.
