@stux Russia has lots of metal ore, oil, uranium, coal, wood, water, arable land, and borders on some of the most prosperous economies of the world with sea transit links to the others.It's really weird how that somehow doesn't translate into economic success.It's like they actively try to avoid it.

@stux Many people is russia see putin as a source of stability, They genuinly believe, that other states are envy, that they have such a strong leader. My english teacher, who is originally from russia moved back there. She was tired of choosing presidents every 5 years and told me how everyting is stable there. Her mind set hasn't changed since the days of USSR. You know what they say, you can take a girl from russia, but you can't take russia from a girl.
