       Once again, thoroughly disappointed when #foss #floss projects don't feel any need to support alternative FLOSS platforms for communications, e.g. using #youtube vs #peertube when there are plenty of options available.I mean, these are the SAME PEOPLE that understand the uphill battle for people to adopt their projects vs the proprietary alternatives!If you don't encourage the use of these ALTs who will?You all make me sad:(

       @lps I believe @martinwimpress expressed the tension well at one time: You need to support the free alternatives, but you also need to be where the audience is. A peertube channel without any viewers is useless.

       @jannem I agree, but there is the technology to mirror these channels automatically to #peertube, and I'm convinced there are many admins that would be more than happy to accommodate these projects.A great example is @penpot @penpot_app and the great work they did with #penpotFest ... live-streaming and chat https://peertube.kaleidos.net/videos/recently-addedThe fact is, that it has to happen at one point, or we'll be forever in the clutches of the corporate overlords.If we don't build it, how can they come?
