@BrodieOnLinux Of course, I think it's stupid to attack her *just because* she's a shaman or otherwise spiritual. However, I have seen valid concerns (some of which I hold) which I hope get addressed at some point, hopefully in further public messaging from the board or within the upcoming Q&A.

@BrodieOnLinux @dirk 'managing non-profit' and 'fundraising' seem relevant but unless her role is purely management I see huge disconnect with what Gnome does and what she does. I seriously hope Gnome to succeed and if 'this' helps so be it.

@BrodieOnLinux I still remember when he started to shit on Mastodon and take his videos off Youtube, he was a little strange before but I think isolation probably wasn't the best solution for that! I do however also think it's worth considering what seems to be the previous buisiness of a leading persona in the FOSS world, especially if pseudo medicine and similar "spiritual" garbage is involved!

@BrodieOnLinux I'll admit I was slightly amused by the fact that she believes in shamanism. But that's about it. It doesn't change the fact that she did lead non-profits for about 10 years. @thelinuxEXP had a great take on this on his podcast. Namely that there are executive directors with far worse shady histories. At least compared to someone just being interested in connecting with nature.
