For perspective on how massive the move in Treasury bonds has been...TLT, an ETF replicating ~20yr Treasuries, is down 51% from its all time high in 2020. Levels not seen since 2007. It's second largest draw down was post-financial crisis after equities bottomed.Meanwhile the S&P is up 550% from the 2008 financial crisis. This isn't to suggest that the S&P will crash, doubt it will, but rather that Treasury bonds are at pretty attractive levels now. Plus they pay you.Crazy times.

@NBS and don't forget kids: open your treasurydirect.gov account if you haven't already. Link your checking account and you can put money to work for 3 months at > 5%. https://treasurydirect.gov/auctions/announcements-data-results/Don't accept "punishment rates" on savings accounts and don't buy CDs at your brick and mortar (sometimes CDs are a good deal, but only at your brokerage).

@NBS What about $TLT though? You think it's bottomed or still has room to drop?Personally, I don't like the idea of owning any sovereign debt, especially long duration.... but I'll trade an ETF proxy no problem...

@Le_Big_Layaboutski I’m long TLT in the retirement account from about 10% higher… lol. So I’m talking my book a bit, but I think TLT and Treasuries are a great own for the next 1 - 3 years. But owning TLT is the same as owning long duration sovereign debt: the ETF has 100% allocation to mostly 2043 - 2053 maturity Treasuries. So if the Treasury goes to zero, TLT also goes to zero.
