       Cycling on Queen Margaret Drive last night, a driver honked and then two cars close passed me at, I estimate by comparison with the other cars, 40mph. I got off and completed my journey on foot. The roads are out of control.I assume the honk was because I was daring to ride outside of the door zone of the parked cars. My lights were on and I was wearing a white jacket.

       @moh_kohn Ridiculous that any motorist doesn't have the patience to wait for a few moments behind a cyclist on QMD. Hardly a long stretch of road, and traffic light controlled at both ends.

       @drgeraint Yeah I think they were still at the traffic lights when I got there on foot.The police did a brief daytime survey a while ago and found speeds up to 37mph on that street. It's so wide! It is getting a cycle lane though, I've seen the designs.
