       The "Tanzlinde", a lime/linden tree on the village square of Effeltrich, Upper Franconia, is estimated to be between 400 and 1,000 years old. The circumference of the trunk varies between slightly below 8 m and 11 m. Its eight branches, which form a crown with a diameter exceeding 20 m, are supported by iron pipes, the crown by a double ring-shaped framework. I've known this tree since I was a child but this is the first time I've photographed it. #ThickTrunkTuesday #tree #nature #photography
