       Hey #Linux #History nerds. Did you know that the Common Desktop Environment was released 30 years ago, and is still shipped in some versions of #UNIX?Coincidentally, we spent the last month using #CDE ourselves because you can still install it today in some distributions.

       @linuxuserspace CDE sounds familiar. I think I had that for a period during my Sun workstation life. Reasonable I remember correctly? By the way, it was when I had a Sun as my machine, I first heard a guy talk about Linux and I got interested. But it took long time until I actually did my first GNU/Linux installation.
