@musictraveler not confirmed #EV yet so hold your horses (personally don't like #Elon at all). As with the cargo ship recently it was proved that the EV:s were not the cause of the fire. This could perhaps be due to an EV but as research have shown EV:s are generally less prone to catch fire than ICE cars.

@Netson A tank of diesel will not spontaneously catch fire if damaged, while a rechargeable battery will explode and produces a big and extreme hot fire if damaged I’m curious what the final result will be of this ship fire but to say/write on forehand that it’s not cause by a BEV is premature and wishfully/commercial/forced thinking 🤷🏻♀️

@musictravelerReally weird, because looks like the car that caught fire wasn't parked but it was moving, with engine and lights on. Can't say the make of the car, doesn't look like a Tesla but there's plenty of EVs from other brands in the UK today. To honest, it looks like some old car, but that's speculation with not much time spent on analysis.@Netson

@kravietz @Netson Indeed it doesn’t look like a Tesla when that is the car.I can not see it clearly but it could even be that the fire is somewhere before that car 🤷🏻♀️And when it is a driving gasoline car with some mechanical mail function it could easily be the cause of the fireSo let’s see what they will find out as the root cause
