just came up with a potato “salad” with green beans, broccoli, chanterelles, eggs and a herby tahini-peanut butter-lemon juice oil sauce :blobcatPuffyMelt: the sauce:whisk together tahini*, peanut butter*, dijon mustard, lemon juice, water, extra virgin olive oil, garlic salt, thyme, dill, oregano, crushed pepper, small pieces of sun-dried tomatoes until emulsification. the result should be a runny sauce that’s thicker than water but a bit runnier than a mayo sauce.* the nut butters should be smooth and free of sugar and salt; i used a teaspoon of bothprep:- set the oven to 180C and put a mixture of green beans, broccoli, (refined) olive oil, a bit of vinegar, smoked paprika powder, black pepper, salt on a baking tray for 25 mins- rinse and boil the chanterelles for 15 mins, then rinse again and fry for 15-ish mins on medium heat to remove excess water. boiling them first brings out their taste and makes the sauce stick to them- wash and quarter potatoes, then boil them for 20 mins- boil eggs for 7 mins, then rinse them under cold water, peel and cut into quarters or smaller pieces- add half of the sauce to a large bowl/container to the bottom, then add everything and mix, and keep adding the rest of the sauce fresh produce that go with this but i didn’t have it on hand:- romaine lettuce!! i’ll actually try to get it tomorrow and add it to the leftovers- tomatoes- fresh onion
