As discovered and observed in operation provide comfort in 1991. Hamas currently is operating post Isis. Which completely changed the face of inhumane torture these organizations are capable of. Nothing would surprise me or shock me. Hamas hate the Jews with extreme prejudice. At this point I am not interested in comparisons. Each situation is its own thing. Would hamas of 20 years ago done this? Maybe not but we are dealing with whom ever is in its ranks now. The fact they planned and operated a direct action against a civilian population. Not a military installation. But a civilian settlement. Gives me no reason to come to their defence with ideas that the Israeli's are lying to make them look bad. @susansiens @HebrideanHecate First off, you can stop putting stances in my mouth. I do actually criticise my own country when the UK does things I don't approve of. I didn't approve of the Afghan war. I approved of military action against al qaeda. But not a full scale invasion. I took the stance as the head of West point back in early 2000's. Of which he was relieved of his command. I don't agree with the Yemen war. I didn't agree with UK doing airstrikes in Syria. Not do I support Israeli settlements destroying Palestinians homes. Or the abuse I observe Jews doing to Palestinians daily. I have spent a lot of today watching Palestinians feeds on Instagram showing that hamas doesn't represent them. I'm neither pro Israel or Pro hamas. There is a lot Israel does that I don't like. But I am also not under the illusion Palestinians are angels either. There is no point continuing in this over exaggerated conversation. Neither of us are in anyway involved in the reality of this. So it's already moved into over passionate virtue signalling of already decided biases.Like I've already said. I can feel anger when I see Palestinians being abused by Jews. I can sympathize with Palestine. But I can do that without throwing my arms around certain groups who are moved to extremism. When you start to blindly defend extremism. You are on the wrong path.
