       In keeping with the recent trend, Mitch McConnell responded to the job numbers by saying nothing about the good news. No press releases, no tweets, & no public comments. While it’s true that the House GOP is without a speaker right now, websites & social media accounts from Kevin McCarthy & both of his would-be Republican successors — Steve Scalise & Jim Jordan — & none of them acknowledged the job numbers in any way.Big surprise. Hard to comment when you don’t know how to govern. #gop
