       @miffyhelen the only way that worked for me was to block and straight away unblock someone. Be interested to hear if there is a better option.

       @piper @miffyhelen block-unblock is how I used to do it on twitter. however, here on mastodon, I had already a few times, that the block works, but the unblock fails... maybe because we're on different servers... I felt a bit guilty each time 🙈

       @lesighlepurr @piper @miffyhelen Two options here in Fedi::::--block the user--block the serverYou can't help people following you unless you set your account to private and have it so they have to 'request to follow'.

       @miffyhelen @lucifargundam @piper I'm familiar with the block option, it's the UNblocking that can be a problem
