@EU_Commission Fair enough. I do miss calls on Israel to respect the lives of innocent civilians though and honor international (war) law. Western politicians emphasize the right of Israel to defend itself, also fair enough, but this shouldn't be a justification for a brutal response, without any care for civilians.

@EU_Commission Could you show solidarity with the people who live in fake democracies in your own borders, and those who you want to take away the right to private correspondence via chatcontrol. It is absolutely distasteful and tone death to use the suffering of real children to scare people into giving away their rights. At least in the states our bill of rights doesn't have exceptions. @EU_Commission Both one side and the other have done damage to each other, so either you are with neither or you are with both at the same time.That said, it makes sense for the European Union as a body to be with Israel because of the history of jews in Europe; palestinians also are much farther away for Europe (both their culture and their society).

In a terribly ill-advised move, you just condoned a policy of collective punishments (e.g. deliberately disrupting civilian power grid) - a clear violation of all humane rules (let's start with UN ones).
