It turns out starving is the easiest way to lose weight.

I'm not advocating starving!!!!!!!!!! You do have to eat some. but I'm saying that weight loss is not as dependent on how much you go to the gym as people believe it does.

It turns out if you eat trash foods, even if you work out super hard, you won't lose much weight. Diet is like 80% of the determinant or more.

@skimlines back in my weightlifting days the common attitude was that you lose weight in the kitchen put muscle on in the gym.

I forget where I learned this, but apparently working out more to lose weight is a conspiracy that food companies promote because they don't wanna say "eat less of our high calorie foods"

but if you eat like 4000 calories in a day, no amount of working out will truly balance that calorie surplus.

Also, there's a theory that working out doesn't burn a linear number of calories, but rather, your body burns less calories doing other stuff (your base calories) the harder you work out. So running for 1 hour doesn't necessarily burn twice as much calories as running for 30 minutes.
