I have no idea why Unifi decides to disconnect all wireless clients suddenly.Same issues as always, I thought that they have become better

Alternatively, just use it for mobile clients and wire up all desktops and docking stations

@selea That happens to me too. I thought it was the work VPN that kicked me out, but Im now rather suspecting our router.

@selea Anytime you change anything in the wifi settings it restarts the network stack in the UDR.

@selea In all fairness, wiring up all desktops and docking stations doesn't sound like a bad idea regardless of this issue.

@selea we’ve got the same issues at my work. Video conferences is done in pods so we have to rely on wi-fi when having meetings. Wonky is the nice way to describe how it works

@selea Are you using DFS frequencies by any chance? Try manually setting your 5GHz channel to 48 or below.

@finlaydag33k @selea I agree. Wireless should be reserved strictly for when wired isn't practical.

@antsu I think not, I have made sure that the channels exists on the less crowded ones. But this is consistent with the whole unifi experience.

@selea What I mean is, if you use any channel from 52 to 140 (EU)/144 (UK), even if it shows as unused, the AP has to, by law, drop all communications and go silent for a couple of minutes if it detects radar comms (which use the same channel range). Setting the channel manually to 36, 40, 44 or 48 resolves this problem. I have a U6Lite that has been running rock-solid for years on channel 48 (80MHz), even with less-than-ideal placement. In any case it's worth a shot.

@selea Btw, you can check if this is the cause of the drops by going to `Network app > System Log > AP` and looking for "Radar Detection" events.

@selea it could be caused by wireless interference. In that case, choose a narrower band 20/40Mhz, and let the AP controller do some “optimization”
