@purple ok I was just thinking about making ISA backplanes connected to PCIe during the @adafruit show, and now I'm thinking maybe we could have an ISA to PCIe bridge, some USB-like cable, and then a PCIe to ISA bridge in a VHS tape box… 🤔

@mmu_man@m.g3l.org if i could have any ridiculous 8bit ISA card, it would be one that is a USB interface.that would solve every problem i have with retrocomputing 🙃

@purple like… that?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3W5ydPuqpTgSadly it only works for mass_storage, it's not a complete USB controller that you can use all devices on…

@mmu_man@m.g3l.org yeah and that's the problem. my ask is far too big without a comparative super computer sitting between the two.thank you, though, i'll add this to my wish list
