@lonjil @soatok When IBM took over Red Hat they immediately nuked CentOS. Since then, they put the source code for RHEL behind a wall that requires a membership and agreement to a really dicey ToS, and they've been yanking developers off of FOSS projects left and right. I'm sure Red Hat's corporate culture has always been pretty terrible, but I think IBM is definitely enshittifying what the company produces in a way that removes the only good things about Red Hat. I have a hard time thinking the changes to their core business model changing around the IBM acquisition are coincidental.
