@graf @Griffith I'm in a much better spot than the last time I was unemployed, I live on the cheap, don't have kids and have a system of support. I can take some time to find new work if necessary. Worst case scenario I might have to file for unemployment but I've been needing an extended break from work for a while.

Maybe I'm just a spoiled soylennial but I don't want to feel I'm wasting my life away for a job that doesn't even give me the opportunity to buy a house and no chance for retirement before I'm in my 90s.
