@givenup @mrnpc @qwerty @Jim Yeah as it stands thats great and Im all for it. If youre a meat eater, which most people are, because we have been normalized to it, it's all that's ever been! That is the most ideal situation and way of life. In the future though, I understand where things are headed, vegan, starting with vegetarian. No more animal cruelty. And going on to eating meat being essentially barbaric and unheard of. Whether it's to make money ultimately for big corporations with Veganism being best option, or because it's actually the right thing to do, or both. But yeah, I like my chicken mcnuggets, from time to time lol. But as a millenial, I'm evolved to this level of "hmmm, meat is kind of gross and I could live without it if good options are out there and advancement in the health benefits" Anyways... @Jello @mrnpc @qwerty @Jim i don't believe it's cruel to farm animals, especially on a small individual scale, most small scale farmers can give the animal a nice life, then when it dies it's quick and painless and it's butchered for meat, most livestock have been selectively bred for generations to be helpless food animals that wouldn't survive without humans taking care of htem at all, so vegans have the choice of humanity bearing the burden of taking car eof these animals for nothing but some decent fertilizer for the rest of time, them mass dying off, or just letting people eat what they want and stop trying to moralize diets.

As opposed to living a long, at least 10 year long life. Filled with hanging out with family, maybe friends, eating grass, hangin around lookin at the sunset, adventuring. But nah, 10 minute meal. You know, when you just think about it in this silly simple way, it's absolutely cruel. But I understand what you're saying, again its like at our point in the timeline, our generations, I agree with you. I'm thinking more in the future, perfect ideal society and world. There would be no meat eating lol. We will have lab created meat or something advanced along those lines. Surely you agree, let's say you have real meat vs EXACTLY perfectly constructed created meat replacement - not real meat, but everything exactly the same - taste, nutrients, whatever. Surely, you know it's more right or ideal to not kill living beings anymore. It would be evil to do so in that case because it's absolutely 100% unnecessary. That's all my point really. Future things. Like, even just the idea of eating living things and seeing butchered animals. The red, the gore, like... in a way, ideally, people shouldn't have to deal with that in a perfect world. People can still have farms and shit, and actually would likely be supported because animal extinction if humanity continues taking all land. So there isn't really anything different in that world. Just no real meat eating, no people having their conscious reality consist of work and labor where you have to kill animals and mutilate them. Kinda depressing right? Why choose that vs not having to do that. Meat on its own isn't great, of course, that's why people season things and combine flavors. So it's like, you can season and make anything flavorful in a certain way. No other beings on earth are (seemingly) as capable of that level of intelligence. It's a good thing, not a bad thing. Because the opposite is like... Being evil? Mean? Uncaring? Unempathetic, having no moral understanding? Stuff like that.Ultimately you say vegans can get fucked (idk the level of seriousness you are or if joking to be fair), but then you should consider the types of people that are left and what qualities you value in them as opposed to traits and qualities that vegans are most likely to posess. Vegans are pushing a movement that supports animal rights, sentient living beings with feelings and all this shit lol. I respect that. See I don't want to spend the money I have on vegan foods because its expensive, it takes effort, time, giving up good yummy foods like tacos and burgers. I'm not so good as them, in a way, despite caring for animals and what might be best for the future of the world and people.

Anyways back to what you were actually saying, I get your point and a part of me completely agrees lol. Especially with psychedelics, in particular, they can very much be like an illusion, or be meaningless. It's really how you use them, for what reason, and what type of person you are. Like, I just think the fact that we are capable of having these types of experiences very interesting. How, why? Every time I've done drugs I've just wanted to figure out how or why so and so is happening, how it is possible, and think about how crazy and absurd it can be. How can you hallucinate things real time that seemingly interact with you in a fluid way. Or see something complex, like architecture, landscapes, just boom, shifting, changing, while you sit there looking with your normal brain, your normal thoughts, but seeing and experiencing things that seems seperate from even your own mind. Not that I'm bad at math if I understood and memorized math methods. In fact in school I remember enjoying and having fun figuring out math problems once I knew the method. I will say though, word problems where you have to consider x y and z (processing more than 1 or 2 things to figure something out) always fucked with me. Maybe it's like an ADHD related thing, even now when reading word problems longer than 3 sentences I need to re-read over and over. Nothing to do with logic in my case, I'm good with that shit thanks to having a more introverted childhood probably. Just thinking about shit on my own lol See you had your dad, whatever gets the ball rolling is all most people need. My parents never really taught me consistently and I never did homework lol. They were eventually too preoccupied with 3 siblings and other life things I think, and had a more chill no consequence sort of approach to things. Basically I can't remember beyond 1 or maybe 2 times my parents actually forcing me to learn something or taking the specialized devoted time to do so. As an adult all I need to do is start memorizing. But at this point its like, there are other things to do. Why? Unless a job requires it. Or for some particular reason. Math is, imo, from my limited women knowledge and perspective maybe, fairly useless for the average person lol
