       @stacyharper That's an interesting one to start with, isn't xkb mostly data, meaning it could be ported to pure Hare?

       @lanodan You mean re-implementing xkb? It knows about keymap, and variants, and all that stuff. It can manage a keyboard state, knowing which keysym trigger with those or those modifiers.
