       @lowqualityfacts Nice try, no cigar.  That's the temperature inside their mouth/ear/butt depending on the method used.  Shooting a beam at their forehead adjusts for the difference just as you have to deduct 1 degree if you use an oral thermometer rectally.Protip: sterilize the thermometer if you do and be careful not to break it while taking the temp.🤒
