       This might be a long-shot, but is there anyone out there in the #Fediverse which knows of a good camera/surveillance product which records and retains for at least 24 hours before dumping *AND* does not require a subscription to a cloud storage or any other subscription? It’s for my dog/home, but I don’t want it streaming video of my home to be on some corporation’s database. Drives me insane it’s so hard to find any, maybe I’m just not looking right. Suggestions/boosts welcome! #fedi

       @JasonPerseus Make one yourself. Simple raspberry pi & camera module. 128gb sd card should be enough to store only motion events for 24 hours.
