VTubers are fun and creative and the ones that I watch exude positivity. However, I am not a fan of the more-lewd VTubers out there, in my opinion they're no better than e-thots, cashing in on Male loneliness.

I don't see what this has to do with me or with conservatives. Perhaps I'm missing something. Also isn't the point of 'deviant art' art that is deviant? It's not trying to pretend like 'drag queen story hour' which is grooming in disguise. At least this, you know what you're getting into. It's in the name. Although I have seen 3d art that's indistinguishable from photos to an average person. At some point when it looks close enough to reality, it doesn't matter if it's drawn (except that with drawings, no actual person is being exploited or taking advantage on).Also, not that I'm defending it, but "There's worse stuff out there" is not a good argument for anything, Vee uses here. Someone made the point of parents doing a better job instead of relying on the government. The last thing I want is government having more power.I won't say too much more, people will always find loopholes in rules. Part of me knows there has to be boundaries, once you know the boundaries, it's easy to put one foot on either side of the line and say 'see this is arbitrary', and the creative part is wary of restricting creative freedom.Honestly I think they are two sides of the same coin. If you had no boundaries, art would lose most of it's appeal. If you had no creative freedom, it would be a tragedy.Much like Jordan Peterson would say you need the best mix of order and chaos, or freedom and boundaries in this case

I'm somewhat on the conservative side,I've never called for banning anything. But i do agree that some of the banning stuff is silly. Although some is well intentioned to protect kids.After all the media manipulation the last few years, I'm willing to team up with any freedom minded person, even if we disagree on most things, as long as they are mainly freedom focused and care about protecting kids, then I don't care if i disagree on other things.I'm actually a Christian, I don't smoke or take drugs etc, but my philosophy on that sort of thing is that as long as people aren't bothering others or pushing harmful things on kids, even though i know it's not good for you, then why should I have a right to stop someone living their lives, as long as that sentiment can be returned to me as well

@alstroemeriaf At this point many vtubers are more wholesome than Disney princesses. And even many "lewd-vtubers" are more wholesome compared to the typical only-fans-e-thots. I understand they are not all perfect and there's a lot of e-drama and hustling even in this industry but to "make it big" does require dedication,a semblance of respectability, and actual talent.Sure,there are joke vtubers that are dudes whom have "female avatars" but they tend to be very up front about it. (Jowol,Rev says desu, and Dr. Lolihime being examples) Yet the big talent agencies really are looking for actual women to fill those character/mascot slots. At least when it comes to that side of the business....
