NA Plumbers! I are an engineer, but water and gas plumbing are not within my realm. I need to adapt this (labeled as) 3/4-14 NPSM deck-mount faucet to accept water from these whateverthehellitis coming out of the floor. I seem to recall I used 1/2" male plugs when we demo'd the convicted sex offender's spa tub (a great question to ask your realtor BEFORE closing - he's serving 25 in FL now). I know I *should* put shut-offs on but the main cutoff is 15 running steps away. Advice? SHW did the tile

The floor pipes were originally gray. Copper or brass crimps. We're going for an exposed industrial look so my Keeper painted those black.

I'm hoping to use short flexible (8-12") pre-made supply lines if I can figure out the right combo of gender-flexible adapters and sizes at each end.

@RadarRider nice tile job. Hose or copper tubing preferred? That NPSM is straight thread and probably seals with a flat rubber seal like a toilet inlet. The supply looks like 1/2” NPT (tapered) you should be able to easily find an adapter or shutoff valve that screws right in. Look for “Brasscraft” product line. I personally do not like hoses especially if hidden in a cavity. I bend tubing, cut to size.

@HaleakalaCrater Well, on the network side, I prefer wired over wireless, so I understand your tubing preference, and agree. My skill level in hydrodynamics lends me toward flexible/adapted at least for now. It will be exposed so I can keep an eye on it. These plugs have held for ~3 years. the 'deck' will be this table off the corner of the clawfoot tub, once my Keeper grouts it. The deck table will sit above those plugs, at the corner of the tub. The plumbing will be exposed and steampunk below

@RadarRider All you need are a pair of supply hoses. The stub ends coming from the wall should have an end that looks like a water hose outside with a rubber gasket that seals everything up. The length is always a bugger to guess. Of course you now have Murphy's law of plumbing. The likelyhood of not having the correct part is directly proportional to the distance from the supply shut off, distance to the supply house/hardware store and urgency of the project.

@RadarRider Guy that plumbed his own tiny house and installs espresso machines here...Bring it into a plumbing supply store for best results, take it to home Depot for a 2 hour run around and multiple adapters solution.
