After trying it out i want a VNA. Building antennas is so much easier if you can measure the performance ...the biggest obstacle is that NanoVNA is sold out and there's mostly bad chinese knockoffs available of uncertain performance

@piggo also be aware that 100% of the models available now are not the original, they are all forks despite what their websites may claim. I don't think the original author sells (or has ever sold) kits

@td they have a store where they claim they verified the parameters and it's legithttps://www.tindie.com/products/hcxqsgroup/nanovna-v2-plus4/and it's sold outthough for my diy antenna tuning i imagine even the crappier ones from ali would be sufficient

@piggo that one is by nanorfe/hcxqs. they probably work well but they are different hw/sw than the original.For antenna measurements, center frequency/Q/SWR measurements are not super sensitive to noise floor regardless.
