@pwm I must be basing my "windows users trying xmpp" experience on nobody being able to get omemo to work in the group chat and giving up since everyone's saying gajim works just fine.

@cassidyclown basically you just can't ever add devices or people to encrypted group chats if you don't want it to suck. And that's a protocol thing, more than anything else

@cassidyclown @pwm omemo for group chats is a shit idea, so just don't post nudes and erp sessions in group chatsthat and psi is pretty good too as an xmpp client too
