@johoshua @adam This looks like tents for events. Like for vendors.

@HiroProtagonist @adam What event have you ever see that lasts 180 days? This is the hack being used for the temp tent cities. As long as there is 4 tents group together for less then 100 square feet, then a 10 foot space, THIS is why the tent cities are being allowed.

@HiroProtagonist @adam This is why they are under bridges, on sidewalks (doesn't comply with ADA). You can basically set up a tent anywhere in a Public Right-of-Way from the way (haha) I read this. They are using it to get around National Fire Code.

@johoshua @adam The page says "The structure and installation must still meet all applicable requirements of the Chicago Construction Codes". Are you allowed by the construction code to build anywhere in the right of way? Are the construction codes used to get around the national fire code?

@HiroProtagonist @adam YES! As long as your "group" is under 400 square feet. "NO PERMIT REQUIRED".

@HiroProtagonist @adam This is all theory on my end, but I believe this is the underground mechanism being used to sidestep City Ordinances in the democratic run Cities.
