       Back in my day we didn't HAVE a fancy-smancy chicken pox vaccine because no one was afraid of it.  Hell, our parents used to send us over to play with kids who had the disease so we would CATCH IT.  And we liked it.  We LOVED IT!Did your parents DELIBERATELY expose you to another child with chicken pox?

       @chromeratt my 4 siblings and myself did not get the vaccine. Then one day I heard my dad tell my mom about a kid of somwone he knew who died from chickenpox, so they immediately went and vaccinated my youngest brother who hadn't had it yet. All it takes is a tiny bit of fear...
